WE’re hiring

Winter’s Turkey Farm, a family-run poultry farm located in Dalemead, Alberta, is currently seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team for the summer season. This position is ideal for students interested in agriculture, animal husbandry, or hands-on farm work.

Position: Summer Farm Staff

📍 Location: Dalemead, Alberta (20 minutes southeast of Calgary)
📅 Duration: May – September 2025
💰 Wages: Competitive, based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and maintaining barns, including pressure washing equipment

• Preparing facilities for turkey arrivals

• Performing general farm and yard maintenance

• Assisting with equipment and barn upkeep

• Supporting daily farm operations as needed

Qualifications:

• Strong work ethic and self-motivation

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions

• Availability for some weekend shifts

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the farm

🎓 Students enrolled in agriculture or veterinary-related programs are encouraged to apply. Previous farm experience is an asset but not required.
